Interested in running barefoot? Thought about it but not sure where to start? Join us at 10:30 am on August 21st at the gym and attend your first official barefoot running clinic. During this one and a half hour long clinic, BF guru Clynton Taylor will lead you through the basics behind barefoot running, including implementation, proper technique and how to ease into it without injury.
Clynton Taylor is a member of CrossFit San Mateo who has studied with Barefoot Ted, an authority on barefoot running. His blog, runningquest.net, is full of excellent articles on the subject including his own experiences and adventures in the land of minimalist/barefoot running.
Barefoot running is not just a fad. It’s a positive change to get the body back to how it was meant to function while running. In CrossFit, we’re big into functional fitness, which is why barefoot makes sense! This is an event you do not want to miss!
