Brendon Mahoney
Brendon has more than just a passion for fitness. Helping others find fun and dynamic ways to challenge themselves is paramount to his coaching style. CrossFit, with its high intensity and constantly changing program, gives him a creative platform to successfully push both his athletes and himself to new heights.
Brendon’s coaching philosophy draws upon his experience as an elite track athlete for the past eight years. After earning All American honors, competing in the 2004 Olympic Trials and winning multiple ACC titles, he joined the Nike Farm Team in Palo Alto, CA to train for the 2008 Olympic Trials. Brendon found CrossFit after numerous injuries sidelined him from competition. Through CrossFit, he has recreated himself not just as a stronger runner but also as a functional and more capable athlete. He is able to perform at elite levels on the track and trail and has time to spend with his family. He is constantly looking for new and better ways to develop both his athletes and himself.
Brendon is a sponsored mountain runner for Inov-8 shoes and is currently competing on the USA Track and Field circuit.
When Brendon is not training his athletes or himself, he is a full-time father to his daughter, Josslyn. Other sports he enjoys include surfing, rock climbing, rugby, and swimming in the bay.

Jillian Ross
Jillian began playing competitive volleyball in high school which eventually led to a full scholarship playing outside hitter for the University of New Hampshire. During her career at UNH, Jillian broke multiple school records, including the most “kills” in any game. After college, Jillian continued to play club volleyball for Team Wasabi in Atlanta, GA, which was a nationally ranked team and won numerous regional championships.
Most recently, Jillian earned her 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo, the culmination of over six years of training under the prestigious Master Jeong of Atlanta, GA. During her training for Taekwondo as well as throughout her pregnancy, Jillian employed CrossFit programming to stay in shape, build a strong core and give her the fitness to bounce back quickly after her daughter Josslyn was born.
Jillian is a great reference in the gym for pre and post natal fitness for mom’s.
