Proper nutrition is the single most important key to living a healthy lifestyle and forms the basis of development for all athletes. Unfortunately, we live in a country that has increasing issues of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity just to name a few. We are big followers of the Paleo Diet, which is defined as eating whole, natural and unrefined foods. This includes lean meats, fish, vegetables, fruits and nuts, little or no grains, starches and sugars. In our experience, following these guidelines has enabled us to not only recover quicker, but also maintain a healthy BMI, increase our fitness, and improve our overall blood work.
